I would like to thank Gary for several years of great hunting experiences. He was not only very knowledgeable about the area but was knowledgeable about the wildlife in the area and how they would act in any and all situations. He is an all inclusive outfitter and knows how to cater himself to whomever he is serving. Although I was unable to harvest a whitetail this year, it wasn’t from a lack of trying. I was limited to my movements thanks to a serious illness that limited my activity.

If you have not hunted with Gary Stueve, you are missing one of life great experiences. Breathtaking topography, excellent meals and trophy animals abound in this hunter’s paradise. Gary hunts from sun up to sun down, so it is best to come prepared. His excellent glassing, calling and tracking skills make you comfortable the first day of the hunt, because you realize he is a pro. Without a doubt he is the finest outfitter I’ve ever hunted with. With experiences and knowledge obtained from Africa to Alaska and everything in between, you are assured a quality and enjoyable hunt.
Once in a while in this life someone exceptional extends a hand in giving to someone he doesn’t know and creates something extraordinary. On July 15, 2009, Gary Stueve, owner of 3 Heart Outfitters donated a pontoon boat fishing trip to residents on Valley Vista Care Center, a 24-hour skilled nursing facility located in Sandpoint, Idaho.

I’ve been fortunate enough to go on a lot of hunts throughout North America and abroad over the past 30 years, and very few of them have people who thoroughly impress me as you folks did. I got a great sense of your effor to ensure your clients are successful, while fully realizing sometimes that is out of your control. You’ve got a great family which was evident in my short stay with you, I really enjoyed myself! – Keep the Wind in Your Face –

2009 was my 4th year hunting with 3 Heart Outfitters in their late archery hunt. I had chances at big white tails many times. A look at the Gary has harvested and is hanging in his taxidermy shop shows the huge potential that is there. Out of the 6 hunters in our group, 4 shot white-tails, 3 shot elk, 1 mountain lion and some coyotes. Oh did I mention the turkeys? I have seen flocks of 200 or more. I can’t think of a better place to hunt and hang out than with 3 Heart Outfitters.

I want to thank you Gary for a wonderful Moose hunt. The hunt and your calling was better than anything I’ve seen on T.V. You called him right in!! you and Dan’s professionalism with the hunt, calling, handling of the meat and of your horses and mules was a sight to see. Thanks to you, your family and the great accommodations, Kathy for her wonderful meals. A hunt I will not forget!!
Gary, Many thanks for all your help with Jackie and Al’s Elk hunt. They really had a great time. They were very complimentary of you and your family’s gracious hospitality and likewise of the lodge and facilities. As Al probably told you, we have several friends who are looking for elk and I’m sure they will be calling once they see the pictures and hear the story. It’s always nice when a hunt goes as advertised and is a real bonus when the hunt exceeds your anticipation as yours certainly did. Good Hunting and warmest regards to your family. P.s. Jackie won the Dianna award at SCI National Convention. Thank you –
JoJo… we heard your ad on the radio for the 3 Heart rafting trip down the Moyie, so my wife called and took advantage of the “radio special”… I’ve got to tell you, they are the greatest! Their competitor were right behind us yesterday in their rafts, and it was easy to tell how much better organized and experienced our crew was. We had a campfire, a hot lunch and very knowledgeable guides! What a blast! You can feel good about advertising for this family owned local business!
